Daily Marketing Ace

I’m looking forward to the 4-hour mini blogathon tomorrow in support of Dr. Mani’s Children Heart Foundation. I’m hoping that we start to see a nice conversation develop among all of the bloggers. I’ve never had the opportunity to blog side-by-side with multiple bloggers and I think it will be a great experience.

As I’m thinking about all the posts happening (15 bloggers posting at least one post every 30 minutes for 4 hours, that’s at least 120 posts!) I’m thinking that it would be very cool if all of the bloggers used the same tag to identify their posts in the social bookmarking networks.

If we all used, say ‘Heart Kids Blogathon‘ as our tag on del.icio.us, then users could easily search on that tag and find ALL of the posts. Plus, generous ‘digging’ and ‘tagging’ would help drive traffic for the event and bring in more money for the foundation.

I’d be interested to hear is some of the other bloggers agree, and are willing to join me in adding some structured social bookmarking to the event.
