Entrepreneurs have a unique and wonderful ability to see possibilities where others just see problems. Our creative minds can envision innovative ways to provide value or solve problems, but big thinking can be a rut when not combined with immediate action. Don’t confuse the excitement of your big idea with progress toward building your business. Action toward goals is the only thing that counts

I agree, big thinking must be leveraged through action or it won’t play a role in growing a business (unless the role is distraction!).
Also, I think another challenge many entrepreneurs have is sticking with an idea long enough to make it work. I see small business owners sometimes take a haphazard approach to growing their business because they’re good at generating ideas and taking action. They’ll pursue one idea for a while (without giving it a long enough test), then they’re on to another idea. So I think it’s important that these big ideas be looked at with a long-term eye rather than only short term results.
