The Internet holds limitless amounts of information. What will make you stand out from the crowd? Content - NO, that’s what most people think. It’s like this, if no one sees you, you won’t make anything. Even if you have the greatest product in the world. No eyeballs = no money. Think of content as part of marketing. Don’t concentrate on the content, exert more effort in marketing.

    Wow. I’ve been of that “Content is King” frame of mind for a while, but what you say is definitely true. Content is nothing without marketing.

    Yes it is important, but without exposure, it’s not worth anything.

    I agree. What Carl says is one of those things that seems obvious at first, but with a bit of thought can give you a whole new perspective.

    Ideally, everything is integrated from promotional messaging to content. Another way to think about it is that the “story” you tell with your content starts with your marketing message.

    BTW. Carl is only 13!
