These cases provide a street-level view of Internet marketing in action. Periodically, we’ll pick a marketing project and blog about it as it unfolds — kinda like reality TV only better. Better because Marketing Ace Case Studies can make you money, and reality TV just numbs your brain.
This page is “home base” for the case studies — a roadmap to the posts, as well as a central place to discuss the projects as they unfold. I’ll use the comments below to provide a commentary. Please join in if you feel inclined.
Marketing Ace Case Study #1: Developing a Traffic Strategy
This is the first ever Marketing Ace case study. The objective of this case is to share my process for developing an effective traffic strategy for Daily Marketing Ace.
It started with this post, which describes the need for a traffic strategy and why the timing is right.
Then, in Part 2, I provided the framework for what exactly a strategy is and how strategies fit into the overall scheme of things in a business using the metaphor of the strategic pyramid.
Part 3, reveals both a process for clarifying and documenting a vision statement and an example of how I used the process to develop a vision statement for this project.
Additionally, I created this post which gives me a place to store links to some of the interesting blog posts and resources I find in my traffic strategy research.
The next post will finally dig in to the actual meat of creating a traffic strategy that supports the vision for Daily Marketing Ace.
