I love Internet marketing technology because it makes business life easier and more profitable. It reduces the friction that slows marketers down when they are trying to deliver their product to the market. Or at least that’s what it promises to do.

Rapid Action Profits is one technology solution that delivers on the promise of making life easier and more profitable. I can speak with authority on this particular product because I’ve been part of the beta team and I’m amazed by just how quickly this project has developed into a force to be reckoned with in the Internet marketing world.

It is one of the few Internet marketing products that I actually saw unfold, develop and launch (besides my own) from scratch. Sid Hale, the products creator, is a friend of mine. He’s been around and involved in the Internet Marketeing world since the beginning and he’s one of those rare individuals with his feet planted solidly in two worlds — he is both a computer programmer and an excellent marketer. You might also know that Sid is a Founding Partner in JV Alert.

Because of his acute knowledge of both of these worlds, he is able to solve problems quickly. Relevant problems. Problems I have, and ones that I know the majority of Internet marketers have. For solving my problems, I owe Sid a debt of gratitude.

I’ll tell you about the problems that this script solves in a moment, but first let me tell you what Rapid Action Profits is all about.

What is Rapid Action Profits?

It’s a complete online selling system. It handles payment transactions through PayPal, protected digital product downloads, one-time offers, sales page split testing, instant affiliate commissions, special joint venture partner commissions, and multiple products on a single domain. In my opinion (and that of all of the other beta testers) Sid has struck the perfect balance between simplicity and features — delivering just exactly what we need without giving us a lot of ‘feature bloat’ to get in our way.

Rapid Action Profits is a script that you install on your server; no monthly fees and you maintain complete control. In other words, you don’t have to rely on a subscription-based third-party system like 1ShoppingCart (at roughly $79 per month) to process sales and manage your products. The system is easy to install if you want to do it yourself, or you could just hire someone else to do it for $30-$40 bucks.

Here’s how you can use Rapid Action Profits in your business:

• Sell a low cost report and give 100% of the sale to affiliates (a great list building strategy!)
• Sell a product and split the sales with affiliates — a 50/50 split sends one sale to your PayPal account and one sale to your affilates PayPal account on an alternating basis.
• Add an upsell or one time offer to your sales process instantly
• Protect all of your digital downloads from would-be thiefs by creating unique, expiring download links.
• Install it once (per domain) and add as many products as you want. It’s easy with the ‘add product’ function.
• Track affiliate sales.
• Reward affiliates with commissions instantly paid to their PayPal account — no waiting for your affiliates and no processing for you.
• Instantly and automatically add your prospects and customers to your Aweber autoresponder account without requiring them to complete an additional opt-in form.
• Automatically sign prospects and customers up to your affiliate program to generate a viral flood of traffic. Making things easy for affiliates is one of the keys to getting the snowball rolling.
• Split test your sales page and track conversions — you’ll know exactly which offer delivers the most profits.
• Set up a special commission rate for Joint Venture partners.
• Block certain affiliates from promoting your products — if you find out someone is using unsavory tactics to promote your product, simply switch them off.
• Track all of your product sales in a single admin panel. You can even mark refunded sales for your record keeping.
• And much more (in fact, some of the upgrades Sid has planned are fantastic)

Best of all, this system will have you up and selling fast. And that’s the most important part. There are so many barriers to success online, it’s nice to know that your sales system won’t be one of them.

Now let me tell you why I’m so excited about this product.

As I mentioned earlier, it has solved a number of problems for me in one fell swoop. Previously, I was using the $7 Secrets script — in fact I built a large part of my business model around it. But there were key problems with the script that I was afraid I was going to have to hire a programmer to resolve. Rapid Action Profits has saved me the trouble.

1) Server-Side Sales Letter Split Testing

I’m a huge believer in testing, and the most important element of my sales process that I want to test is how well my offer, or salesletter, converts. Pitting a test version of a salesletter against a control (split testing) is a standard part of my process. Now, there are two primary ways to split-test a sales letter. You can use a tracking link to alternate clicks between your control and your test offer, but that only works for traffic that you control, like Pay-Per-Click traffic. Alternatively, you can rotate different versions of your sales letter for ALL visitors to your offer.

This second method is much better, by far. It enables you to use the full force of all of your traffic to ‘prove’ your test. My problem was that the $7 Secrets script did not have a split-testing feature. And, because of how the PHP files work, it is not possible just to buy a split testing script and plug it in. Rapid Action Profits allows me to do server-side split testing and easily analyze the results — this one feature alone is very powerful and profitable. And I’m happy because I don’t have to pay a programmer to make this happen for me.

2) One Script Install — Multiple Products

A key element of my plan for Daily Marketing Ace is to be able to offer pre-screened, high-value Internet marketing solutions to subscribers and visitors. I need to be able to add products to the Daily Marketing Ace catalog (coming soon!) quickly and easily. With the $7 Secrets script, this would have required a separate installation for every product. Now, with Rapid Action Profits, I can simply add a product (including sales letter, upsell offer, and all of the other features) through the easy-to-use control panel.

3) Special Joint Venture Partner Commissions

One of the core ideas behind Daily Marketing Ace is collaboration. Tip contributors provide great content in exchange for the publicity and exposure they get. In many cases, collaboration goes beyond just the content for exposure exchange. Frequently I have the opportunity to truly partner with someone through a joint venture relationship that goes deeper than the typical affiliate relationship.

It is only fair that JV partners should get rewarded at a higher rate than do regular affiliates. My previous solution did not allow me to set up these special relationships. I still did the deals, but (you guessed it) I had to do a completely separate installation of the script just to make this happen — it was a management nightmare. With Rapid Action Profits, all I have to do is set up my JV partners in a special list and specify their commission split and they will automatically get the right payments delivered to their PayPal account.

Finally, I have the peace of mind of knowing that someone I know and trust is behind the product and that he will continue to improve and evolve it as needs arise. I know for a fact that Sid is working on 2-3 new features that will take the product far beyond where it is now.

What Rapid Action Profits Won’t Do for You

Even though I think this script is the answer to the majority of sales processing issues that Internet marketers face, I want to be clear that it does not do everything. Namely, if you need to run a traditional affiliate program (where you collect all the money and then pay affiliates on a periodic basis) Rapid Action Profits won’t do that for you. There are times when this is a requirement. For instance, if you run a membership site, it simply doesn’t work very well to have payments going directly to affiliates on a recurring basis. You need to be able to access recurring payments in your PayPal account so that you can turn them off if requested.

But because the Rapid Action Profits script is a PHP script, you can work with a programmer to do all manner of integration with other scripts. I’ve done quite a bit of simple modifications (or more accurately add-ons) to get Rapid Action Profits to work with my Daily Marketing Ace system and believe me, it is much better than being tied to a third-party solution where you can’t modify anything.

In my opinion the best place for the Rapid Action Profits script is at the front of your marketing funnel. There is simply nothing better to support you in your new customer acquisition efforts.

I hope I have covered everything because I wrote this review in a hurry. In fact, I really shouldn’t be writing it at all. I have several deadlines to meet today, but I really wanted you to know about this right away so you can take advantage of some of the special pricing Sid is offering during launch.

Honestly, I should have posted about this a few days ago, but I’ve been busier than a one-armed paper hanger.
