Don’t skip over proofreading and editing when you create a product

Editing and proofreading your ebook is one of the most important steps that you can take in product creation. Nothing makes your credibility drop faster than having a written product with errors in it. No matter what other people tell you, good writing is necessary for online success. Double and triple check your work before you create a PDF. Have other people read it for you and check for errors.

Resource lists add value to your product

Want a simple way to add value to your product without having to do a whole lot of extra work? Add a list of resources to the end of your ebook that will help your readers learn more about the topic. The resource list can be a collection of all of your links and findings during your research process. You can also include affiliate links to the related products that you mentioned throughout your ebook.

“Successful” verus “Wildly Successful”

In marketing, there is one thing that separates the ‘average’ Infopreneur from the “wildly successful” Infopreneur — Testing!  Most of the top marketers will tell you, they aren’t the best at getting things right the first time. What they do well is to a) get started and b) improve from there. Testing and tracking are core skills that all wildly successful Infopreneurs share.

I just sent this to my email list, but wanted to post it here as well.

I know a lot of people who talk about peace, but Rick and Julian and everyone else at Ten Million Clicks For Peace are actually catalyzing action toward peace.

They are not just taking action themselves, they are creating a platform to help millions of people choose a more peaceful world.

Please visit Ten Million Clicks for Peace and add one more click — just visiting the site is a step in the right direction.  If you want to amplify your impact, register and share this message with your sphere of influence.

Peace happens within the minds of people, not the policies of governments — you CAN have an impact.

Here’s the email I just sent:

You’ve been a much valued and loyal subscriber to my newsletter and I hope by now you trust that I would not recommend anything to you that I don’t believe in.

Today, I have something for you, and your loved ones, that I believe in with all my heart and mind. It’s not something you’ll have to open your wallet or purse for. It IS something, however, that will change the world as we know it!

I further believe that when you click through to their website you will do exactly as I did and join the mission that Nobel Peace Prize winners, business leaders, Hollywood and sports celebrities and many more are now supporting.

I will let their website enlighten you as to how powerful you have just become: http://www.tenmillionclicksforpeace.org/?supid=355

Hopefully, you’ll be joining me and we will be changing the world together!

Yours, for a better future,

Outlines make writing a product easy as pie

The key to making the writing process as painless as possible is to start with a good outline. A detailed outline will allow you to write quickly and easily. When you create your outline, you can get all of your thoughts organized and make sure you cover all of the important aspects of your topic. When you try to write without an outline you’ll find that you’ll repeat yourself or leave important information out. Do yourself a favor and get everything written down in order before you start to write. Not only will the writing process go quickly, you’ll create a better quality product.

Affiliate links in your product build backend sales

Sales from your infoproduct don’t stop with the initial retail sale. You can build additional streams of income within your ebook with well-placed affiliate links. The key to getting successful affiliate sales within your product is to choose your links carefully. Make sure the products or services that you are linking to will help your readers in a legitimate way. Don’t just plaster your ebook with affiliate links. Build up interest and desire with your writing and then offer your affiliate link. This way your readers will be motivated to find out more instead of just seeing your link as an attempt to make a sale.
