I was just looking at my referrer stats (in Google Analytics) and noticed that this blog received over 80 visitors in the last 24 hours from StumbleUpon. This is a far greater influx of traffic than I have ever seen from a social bookmarking tool. I submitted the review of Rapid Action Profits that I did yesterday to StumbleUpon (I “stumbled” it in the local vernacular) and was amazed to see that there was an immediate result in corresponding traffic.
Needless to say, this has peaked my interest.
So I jumped on Google and typed in the keywords: “stumbleupon for marketing” which lead me to this post by Garrett French that provides some excellent tips directly from StumbleUpon’s CEO Garrett Camp.
I’ll be exploring StumbleUpon in greater detail and will be posting the results here. Stay Tuned.
